What I did last night...

So glad I dragged my ass off the couch last night. The Barbariƶn Video Launch at the Tote was EPIC.
So much hilarity and such an awesome video. Kudos to all you creative kids involved. (Special shoutout to the amazing hippy cameo P-man!)
Enjoy....

Because I'm self-indulgent but not THAT invasive

I'm doing the 30 day song challenge. But I'm not plastering it all over Facebook to annoy my friends, they can see it here if they really wanna know things they probably already knew.
Oh and I'm doing it all in one day
Oh and I'm not doing all 30, coz most of the challenges suck.
Here goes:

1. Song that makes you HAPPY

2. Song you listen to when you're FEELING SELF INDULGENT

3. Song that reminds you of SOMEBODY

4. Song that reminds you of SOMEWHERE (London 2003)

5. Song that reminds you of an EVENT (Dancing with my Family, at every event ... ever)

6. Song that you know ALL THE WORDS TO

7. Song you always wanna DANCE TO

8. Song you can FALL ASLEEP TO

9. Favourite song by your FAVOURITE BAND

close second.....

10. A song that is your guilty pleasure

11. A song NOBODY EXPECTS YOU TO LOVE

12. A song you WISH YOU HEARD ON THE RADIO

13. A song you want played AT YOUR FUNERAL

14. A song you want played AT YOUR WEDDING ... or funeral, whichever comes first

15. A song you can PLAY ON AN INSTRUMENT

16. A song from your CHILDHOOD

In conclusion: YES, my musical tastes are questionable.

Sexy Bitch: MICHAEL PITT

Yes, I'm watching Boardwalk Empire like the rest of the world. But at this point it's 90% for lusting reasons.
I think if I met Michael Pitt in real life I'd collapse.

HERO SPOTLIGHT: Patti Smith

I'm finally reading 'Just Kids', Patti's account of her time with Robert Mapplethorpe in NYC during the 60s/70s.
It's so simply brilliant that I'm forcing myself to read it reeeeeally slowly. I just know I'm gonna be devasted when it's over. Needless to say, I've been listening to Patti non-stop lately to draw out the experience. Thought I share some of my favourite looks and tunes.
